This is an invitation into Namibia's untamed north, created exclusively for Ernesto & Olga's closest circle. More than a journey, it is a celebration of their shared birthdays. This is not a traditional safari. It is a privately curated desert expedition where adventure takes the lead. As the first to drive a fleet of brand-new off-road buggies, the journey crosses Kaokoland, the Hoanib and Huab Valleys through dry riverbeds, towering dunes, rocky passes and remote tracks where the road simply disappears.

The desert is the driving force. Vast, raw and alive. Desert-adapted elephants, giraffes, oryx and springbok emerge across endless horizons, each encounter shaped by the rhythm of one of Africa's last great wildernesses.

A first-of-its-kind expedition through Namibia's most remote desert landscapes, crafted for very few—and created to celebrate this unforgettable milestone together.

Arrival in the remote Purros Conservancy, where the expedition comes together at Okahirongo Elephant Lodge.

Time to settle in, meet the expedition team and prepare for the journey ahead before a first buggy drive to a panoramic viewpoint, where sundowners mark the beginning of the adventure.

Return to the lodge for dinner beneath one of the clearest night skies on Earth.

September 19

The expedition begins. As the first ever to drive this brand-new fleet of off-road buggies, the convoy ventures into Kaokoland, crossing dry riverbeds, winding canyons and remote valleys where the only tracks are the ones you leave behind. The first wildlife encounters set the rhythm for the days ahead.

September 20

The journey continues south toward Hoanib Valley. Hours behind the wheel reveal a constantly shifting landscape before arriving at Hoanib Elephant Camp, set in the heart of one of Namibia's most extraordinary wildlife regions.

September 21

A change of perspective. Leave the buggies behind for a day dedicated to Namibia's iconic desert-adapted elephants. Guided by expert trackers, spend the morning following their ancient routes before returning to camp for lunch and time to unwind.

As the afternoon light softens, head back into the wilderness for one final search, ending the day with sunset over Hoanib Valley.

September 22

Back behind the wheel. The route to Huab Valley brings longer driving sections, rugged escarpments and vast open plains, with lunch en route at Palmwag Lodge.

By afternoon, arrive at the spectacular Bertarelli Desert Camp, where time to relax precedes the next chapter of the expedition.

September 23

There is no script today. Routes evolve with the terrain, wildlife movements and the instinct of the guides, making every journey entirely unique.

September 24

A final expedition across Huab Valley. One last opportunity to embrace the freedom of the drive before returning to camp for a farewell evening celebrating a remarkable week together.

Our journey concludes on September 25, with departures from Walvis Bay International Airport.

Kindly confirm your attendance for this private expedition. We look forward to sharing this extraordinary journey with you.
